Product Details

The AchilloTrain Ankle Support alleviates pain, swelling and soreness in the lower Achilles tendon. Designed and made in Germany, it provides active support whether you're resting at home, moving about at work or breaking a sweat on the sports field. As a unique Achilles ankle support, it's great for tendonitis, post-op recovery and swelling management.

The AchilloTrain Ankle Support works by gently raising the heel with a gel cushion to reduce strain on the tendon, while using a viscoelastic gel pad to massage and soothe the inflamed area. In addition to this, high medical-grade compression acts to stabilise the muscles, increase blood-flow to the area and minimise fatigue.

  1. Three-dimensional Train Active Knit: Breathable and comfortable fabric for a perfect fit. High elasticity makes the support easy to put on and take off.
  2. Contoured Insert: Running along the Achilles tendon, the pad distributes the pressure uniformly.

Sock for other foot

I recommend you provide a sock for the other foot with each Achillo Ankle support so both ankles look the same in shoes.

Helped ease the pain

After wearing The AchilloTrain Ankle Support, I can comfortably say that this product did exactly that! Offer support to my Achilles as I am having a flare-up with Achilles Tendinitis. I've had this issue for months now and the pain can be quite debilitating. But I have seen improvement in the pain since wearing The AchilloTrain Ankle Support. Before wearing this support, the daily pain level fluctuated from a 7-9 but now most days its a manageable 2-4, and the pain comes and goes, not constant as it previously was. The only thing is that I measured my ankle at the narrowest part and based the size of my purchase on what they suggest would be the right fit, but I should have bought the size down to make it a more snug fit as the heavy material is stretchy. But if one suffers from oedema as I do, then the larger size accommodates for those times the oedema occurs. I was impressed by the quality as this product is very well made and feels like a more expensive support, whereas I have purchased other support items that were similar in price, and they are flimsy and lightweight by comparison. It seems a product of this quality has been developed based on medical studies and clinical findings, as the results I have experienced speak for themselves. Therefore, I have no hesitation in recommending this product. It has been well worth the investment.
